Router with integrated modem and switch for the control cabinet

MoRoS is a router that makes it possible to access Ethernet devices or networks remotely. It includes three main functions:

  • Dial-in and dial-out router with NAT and Port Forwarding
  • Outwards communication via various networks (analogue modem, ISDN, GSM/GPRS, EDGE, UMTS)
  • Switch - direct access for 4+1 Ethernet devices

All MoRoS provide the following additional functions besides the main functions:

  • Open VPN (Client and Server), IPsec
  • Firewall
  • Redundant WAN-Interface (with preset prioritising)
  • Serial ethernet gateway
  • Message dispatch via SMS and e-mail
  • Sandbox (programmable Linux environment)
  • Permanent log files
  • Comfortable configuration via web interface

Dial-Out / Dial-In

MoRoS utilizes a modem connection to handle TCP/IP traffic. MoRoS can accept an incoming modem call (dial-in) when called for remote maintenance, or it establishes a modem connection (dial-out) on demand to transmit data from the LAN outwards.
